Students practiced typing their spelling words for the week (language arts, computer literacy).

Students brought a list of their weekly spelling words to the computer lab and typed a list of their words.  Students had to print out a copy of their words and turn them in.

Second graders loved this activity.  They were able to practice homerow keyboarding while their spelling/phonics rule was being reinforced.  They have asked to do this activity again.
