Literacy - The Great Kapok Tree

I have used many iTunes apps that display and present the rain forests. Even the lulling music was fantastic as my students were writing about the rain forests. (rain forest relaxation music).  There was also a song that was fantastic about the destruction going on in the rain forests. My kids love when I pull out our iPad!!!  I have really enjoyed using the iPad in my classroom this year.

Writing Assessment - Assessed on writing about the rain forests using basic signal words.
